Angela Dickerson in Emily Henderson’s Homes

Before Dickerson Collective, our family business was known as Bonita Interiors. Designer and stylist Emily Henderson and her team featured Angela Dickerson’s original paintings in published interiors and shopping stories. Here are those features, with links to the original reporting and photography.

The Los Feliz Dining Room

Two original paintings by Angie Dickerson-Lee became part of Emily Henderson’s Los Angeles dining-room styling. Emily named the artist and Bonita Interiors in her 2020 home feature. See the original dining-room feature. Photography: Sara Ligorria-Tramp.

Mad Men · AMC / Los Angeles Times

Set decorator Amy Wells named Bonita Interiors among her vintage sources for traditional furnishings in Don Draper's living room. This production connection was documented in the Los Angeles Times feature and photo gallery. The credit concerns furnishings, not an identified Angela Dickerson painting.

The Bonita Interiors Years · Production History

Before Dickerson Collective, Bonita Interiors was a resource for set decorators and stylists in Los Angeles. The Los Angeles Times identified Bonita Interiors as a source of lacquered traditional furnishings used in the living room of Don Draper in Mad Men. Emily Henderson also credited a Bonita Interiors rug on her HGTV show Secrets from a Stylist. These references document the family's earlier design and production sourcing, not individual painting appearances by Angela.
