Vintage pair of Chinese Guardian Lion figures, commonly known as Foo Dogs, beautifully detailed in an antique ivory-tone finish and mounted on fitted wooden display bases. Revered throughout Chinese culture as powerful symbols of protection, strength, prosperity, and good fortune, Foo Dogs were traditionally placed at entrances to guard homes, temples, and important buildings from negative influences.
